Buddies

Stephen has finished his half of the deal. He has read the Lord of the Rings Trilogy.

So now we will be watching the movies together. We got one in last week - and hope to get number 2 in soon. We'll see I guess. I am enjoying spending time with him. He will be in high school soon. WOW!!!

Speaking of which (not really), "my precious" came today. I spent about an hour trying to figure out why it did not have any recollection of having a cd drive, but now it seems to be fine. Not a bad machine for the price we paid. It should be a great step up! And no... it will not bring me long life - but may actually make me grouchy if someone tries to use it! I have included the obligatory "first photobooth" picture.

who needs a birthday when they are getting a new computer?

The day before Dave's birthday (if my memory is right...which usually it is not) our main computer died. The blue screen of death, as we refer to it. Dave has spent many moments since surfing the net (does anyone really say this phrase anymore?) for a cool white mac.
His birthday was coming but I am not not NOT qualified to buy such a purchase so there were other, less expensive, more lovey-dovey gifts.

Not a new computer, but in all honesty that is on its way at this point.
& he got to pick it out himself (more importantly, get the BEST deal).
